The Wireless are a Plymouth-based 3-piece who specialise in playing acoustic interpretations of classic tunes from the last 40 years. Audiences across the south-west and beyond have been consistently amazed and delighted over the past few years by the awesomely powerful sound the band is capable of creating. By combining three-part harmonies, a drum-kit that also incorporates congas along with driving bass and wah-wah driven acoustic guitar, it’s easy to close your eyes and imagine there are 6 people on stage. However, because of the acoustic nature of the band, this enables them to keep the volume levels down if necessary in smaller venues.
